Built and led the excellent smart contracts team serving (almost) all of Polygon’s smart contract needs.
The team was a service organ for the whole company: full contract suites for new products, small one-off requests, and maintenance of everything already deployed — patching, upgrading, and the long tail of care that live contracts demand. The highest-profile piece that was exclusively ours: maintaining the active dPoS contracts securing Polygon’s main chain, with an enormous amount of value riding on them. Because the expertise was concentrated with us, we also got pulled into triage when things caught fire, and into architecture and planning for nascent initiatives.
My job was to make that machine work: recruiting to build the team, defining and prioritizing the workload, and handling communication between our team and everyone who depended on it.
