Smart contracts at Virtual Finance: pre-launch roadmap, production readiness, and founder-facing technical guidance.
I reunited with Polygon alum Tony Olendo for pre-launch smart contracts work. What started as development grew into review and guidance: taking stock of the existing codebase and the work in flight, and charting the path — with Tony and the rest of the team — to get ViFi through audit and to deployment.
This was also my first role after the explosion of agentic coding. That meant building systems to turn a rapidly shifting landscape into actual productivity rather than the illusion of it — and working out how humans should talk to each other about engineering when more and more of the engineering is executed by their agents.
